Job Description:
The Architect will beresponsible for the provision of engineering design solutions for Architecturaldesign related issues and for the implementation of new requirements and changerequests from the projects. He will also be responsible for the management ofthe detailed design process from commencement to delivery, management of designconsultants, writing technical specifications, scope of works, RFP documents forbuildings, landscaping, etc. and verifies detailed design packages ensuringcompliance with International, UAE and Oil & Gas company requirements.He/she shall have working knowledge and detailed design experience inarchitecture and landscape design and implementation and with site survey andwriting technical documentation.
Requirements / Experience:
- B.Sc. or Masters Degree in Architecture
- Membership of a recognized professional body; AIA, RIBA etc
- Minimum 7 - 10 years experience in Architectural design
- Good working knowledge and experience in landscape design
- Good knowledge and experience of British and UAE codes and norms
- Working experience in Oil and Gas fields
- Experience with Sketch-Up, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- English - excellent verbal, reading and written capabilities
- Experience with design review & design supervision
- Experience working in the Middle East (UAE)
